Job summary

Element Solutions Inc is seeking a practical chemist to join the applications development team. The Applications Specialist will provide site-specific support for product development, scale up and test proprietary additives, and validate deposits from R&D under supervision.

The role requires 1–2 years in chemistry labs, DoE experience, and strong communication skills. You will support beta-site testing at global sites and help troubleshoot processes while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience in chemistry laboratories.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to convey technical information clearly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment; self-motivated and team oriented.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques and safety practices in a lab.
• Willingness to assist in scaling up and beta-site testing with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Scale up testing of formulations for electrodeposition of metals for electronics applications.
• Perform DoE experiments to test viability and optimization of new formulations.
• Analyze results, prepare reports, and recommend next actions.
• Generate technical data for marketing and applications.
• Assist in production scale-up, field installation and troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and participate in cross-functional team meetings.
