Job summary

Eisenhower Health seeks a Senior Epic Inpatient Orders, Senior Epic Ambulatory certified analyst or an existing certified Senior Epic Analyst in the clinical module with relevant clinical experience.

The role supports production, on-call and after-hours tasks, develops new functionality, analyzes and solves problems, and manages medium to large projects within the Information Systems group to enable safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Senior Epic Inpatient Orders or Senior Epic Ambulatory certified analyst with clinical module certification.
• Clinical setting experience and plan to gain certification within required time frame.
• Produces solutions for work orders, trouble tickets and projects.
• Owns or manages medium to large Information Systems projects.
• Coordinates application support with System Administrators, DBA, Networking and Help Desk.

Responsibilities

• Own or manage medium to large IS projects related to Epic clinical modules.
• Provide production, on-call and after-hours support for EMC clinical applications.
• Implement, administer and support assigned clinical systems.
• Analyze issues, design solutions, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Coordinate application support with IT teams and manage upgrades/maintenance.
• Address work orders and tickets for assigned departments.

Job Objective

Eisenhower is seeking a Senior Epic Inpatient Orders, Senior Epic Ambulatory certified analyst or an existing certified Senior Epic Analyst in clinical module that possesses relevant experience in the clinical setting to join Eisenhower to gain certification within the required time frame. This analyst will provide production support, on call and after-hours support, develop new functionality, analysis, problem solve, and support our clinical and non-clinical users daily fast paced environment. In this role, this analyst will own or manage medium to large projects. Supports the core functions of EMC clinical applications to enable cost-effective, high quality, efficient, and safe patient care. This position will implement, administer, and support assigned clinical systems under the guidance of the Information Systems Management team. This position will have a thorough understanding of assigned applications, ancillary systems, and health system operations. This position will address issues and design decisions of moderate to high complexity and deliver clear communication and documentation of complex concepts and issues related to applications, interfaces, data structures, and workflows across the organization. This position also manages software upgrades and maintenance as well as serves as Project Manager for major Information Systems projects. Coordinates application support with other information technology teams including System Administrators, DBA, Networking, Reporting, and the Help Desk. Implement changes using documented procedures that are compliant with department's policies and procedures. Provide solutions to work orders, trouble tickets and projects for assigned departments.
