Boston Partners Global Investors, Inc. is seeking an Applications Analyst to implement and enhance business applications. This position involves working with various Investment teams to develop and maintain solutions that automate workflows and reduce errors.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science, five or more years of software development experience, and proficiency in SQL and C# or Java. The compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from $135,000 to $180,000, along with a generous benefits package.

Position: Applications Analyst

Boston Partners is a global investment advisor with $125 billion in AUM and a longstanding reputation for superior client service. The firm was founded in 1995 and maintains offices in Boston, New York, California, and London.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of new and improvement of existing business applications.
• Work with various Investment teams, Trading and other business units to design, develop and maintain solutions that will enhance performance, automate workflows and reduce errors.
• Support existing systems.

Qualifications and Technical Skills

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Five plus years of software development experience with strong analysis, design, and modeling skills.
• Financial services industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL programming along with database modeling and design, primarily using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency in using C# and/or Java for back‑end development.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, TFVC).
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with one or more of the following will be considered a plus:

• Charles River Investment Management System
• Markit EDM Platform
• Data Warehouse Platforms
• Front‑end web frameworks like Angular/React
• Large Language Models like GPT

Special Requirements

Job may require working beyond regular business hours on an as needed basis.

Compensation

Pay range: $135,000 - $180,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
