Job summary

Baltimore County seeks an IT Technical Expert II to manage, implement, maintain, and enhance applications for the Department of Health and Human Services. Under general supervision, you will coordinate vendor relationships, provide technical support, and guide users in efficient software use.

The role emphasizes release management, data reporting with Crystal Reports, Power BI, SSRS, and SQL; plus Azure Virtual Desktop hosting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science.
• At least two years' experience in the administration or support of software applications.
• Experience in release management and industry standards for system quality management, hosted systems troubleshooting Azure Virtual Desktop issues, Crystal Reports, SSRS, Power BI and SQL, and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates the development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of applications for the Department of Health.
• Manages application lifecycle activities including upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
• Provides technical support and guidance to agency staff and users.
