Job summary

City of Raleigh’s Raleigh Water division seeks an experienced Business Systems Supervisor to guide Application Testing, Quality Assurance, and Training & Development. You will lead testing across CC&B changes and ensure reliable, secure, well-documented deployments.

The ideal candidate brings supervisory, analytical, and project coordination skills to advance quality, documentation, and stakeholder satisfaction in a customer-focused utility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, CS, Business Admin, or related field; 3–5 years’ experience in planning, project management, data analysis, or related field.
• Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.
• Experience supervising staff responsible for testing, QA, or training functions.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems and testing activities across functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead application testing, QA, and training & development functions.
• Coordinate testing requirements with business units, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage training programs, curricula, and delivery schedules.
• Partner with leadership on cross-functional projects, releases, and process changes.
• Support production implementations and post-implementation activities; monitor quality and readiness.
