Job summary

Testing Xperts is seeking a skilled IT operations professional to provide Unix/Linux and Windows server support in Eagan, MN. The role covers incident, change, and problem management, with experience in Tomcat/Java applications and databases such as Oracle and MSSQL.

Familiarity with monitoring tools and automation is a plus. The candidate will work across multiple projects, collaborating with architects and operations teams, and participate in 24x7 on-call coverage to ensure system reliability

• Manage incidents, changes, and problems.
• Utilize Service Manager or ServiceNow for incident tracking.
• Support Oracle and MSSQL databases and IBM Websphere MQ.
• Assist with deployment/automation using Jenkins.

Location: Eagan, MN

• Unix or Linux Hardware and Application Support.
• Windows 2003, 2008 R2, 2012 Hardware and Application Support
• Incident, Change, and Problem Management Support
• Experience with Incident Management Tools such as Service Manager or Service Now
• Knowledge and support of Tomcat/Java applications
• Knowledge and Support of Oracle and MSSQL Databases
• Knowledge and Support of IBM Websphere MQ
• Knowledge and Support of Network Storage Systems (NAS, SAN)
• Experience with DNS, Networks, F5 BIGip
• Experience working Application and System Architects in the development systems and applications
• Experience with Deployment/Configuration tools such as Jenkins
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously (ie Hardware/OS refreshs)
• Knowledge and Experience with Software Deployment Lifecycle concepts and application
• Experience writing technical knowledge (ie Runbooks, Work Instructions)
• Experience working with monitoring tools such as Nagious / SiteScope / GVI
• Experience in Automation development
• Experience in developing/using reporting tools and creating reports
• Familiarity with Oracle Databases
• Experience providing 24x7 On-call Support.
