Job summary

Quanteam - North America (RAINBOW PARTNERS Group) is seeking a Support Analyst for our client, a corporate and investment bank in New York. You will join the Front/Middle Office support team, assisting traders, sales and developers in an Agile, DevOps environment, covering e-trading, pricing, risk and market access technologies.

The role requires a BS in Computer Science, 3+ years in a trading-support setting, strong SQL and middleware skills, and familiarity with US regulations.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience in a support team facing traders and sales.
• Strong knowledge of the financial industry, standard processes, and Fixed Income products/trading systems.
• Knowledge of current US financial regulation (Dodd Frank, FINRA, FATCA Reporting, etc.).
• Competency in SQL/databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase) and Windows/Unix environments.
• Middleware experience (Tibco, RMDS, FIX) and Agile tools (Jira, Service Now, GIT).
• Strong analytical, communication and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution of functional and technical issues for Sales, Traders, and Front/Middle Office teams
• Troubleshoot functional issues across complex, multi-region trading applications and architecture
• Manage crises and communicate with end users and senior management
• Document system requirements and maintain the support run book
• Communicate application outages and upcoming releases/projects to users
• Liaise with development/support teams in Bangalore, New York, Montreal, Paris and London
• Respond to issues based on severity and track case histories and action steps
• Partner with development and Global support teams (NY/Paris/Asia) on release management and end-user support
• Report production and project status to client and IT management, and manage the client relationship

We are looking for a Support Analyst for one of our clients, a corporate and investment bank based in New York.

About the role

Join the our client's team within their corporate and investment banking arm, supporting Front Office e-trading, trade capture, pricing, risk and market access technologies across Fixed Income, Emerging Products, Cash Rates, Derivatives and Credit. You'll work closely with traders, sales and developers in an Agile, DevOps-model environment, with daily interaction across trading, sales and operations.
