Position details:

• Type: Full-time, Contract

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in applications programming, including testing, design, and analysis.
2. Support and troubleshoot the LMS (Lab Management System, custom application).
3. Work on process improvement initiatives.
4. Provide optical lab support.
5. Offer technical support for a subset of business systems applications.
6. Assist in developing procedures and best practices for application users.
7. Work under moderate supervision; typically require 1-3 years of related experience.

Ideal candidate qualifications:

2+ years experience in application/desktop support, working with IT vendors, supporting servers; 1+ year in manufacturing and in a union environment.
