SMC is seeking a Boston Outside Application Specialist to provide technical and sales support to customers, distributors, and SMC personnel. The role includes working with branch projects, identifying specifications, and delivering product demonstrations.

The position requires at least a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in sales or technical field experience, plus travel and CRM usage. You will train staff and support local training sessions while collaborating with engineers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide application support stories in monthly conference calls.
• Identify and close major revenue-producing projects.
• Engage with key accounts and their projects.
• Relay customer specifications and regulatory needs to engineers.
• Train sales staff, customers, and distributors on products.
• Support local training courses.
• Monitor and document sales activity in SMC CRM.
