Job summary

FOSS sucht einen Application Specialist zur Stärkung des Dairy-Segments in Deutschland. Sie analysieren Produktionsprozesse unserer Milchindustrie-Kunden, entwickeln Effizienzinitiativen und erstellen Umsetzungspläne.

Sie tragen Verantwortung für Projekte, schulen Kunden und arbeiten eng mit Vertriebsteams zusammen. Reisebereitschaft regional/international wird erwartet; gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse erforderlich.

Qualifications

• Universitätsabschluss in einem relevanten Feld.
• Erfahrung mit analytischen Instrumenten und Lebensmitteltechnik.
• Gute Deutschkenntnisse, Englischkenntnisse erwünscht.

Responsibilities

• Analysieren Sie Produktionsprozesse der Milchindustrie-Kunden.
• Entwickeln Sie Effizienzverbesserungsinitiativen mit Kunden und Vertrieb.
• Erstellen Sie detaillierte Umsetzungspläne für Prozessverbesserungen.
• Projektmanagement intern und extern.
• Priorisieren Sie Aufgaben im Dairy-Segment.
• Unterstützen Sie Identifikation/Umsetzung neuer Entwicklungen und Verbesserungen.
• Schulen Sie Kunden in Schulungen und Seminaren.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a talented in-house Application Specialist for the dairy industry segment

For the right person, we can be flexible on location. You can be based both in Hamburg close to our regional office, or you can work in a remote capacity based in Southern Germany.

In the role, you will:

• Analyze production processes of our dairy industry customers.
• Develop efficiency improvement initiatives together with customers and the respective sales teams.
• Prepare detailed implementation plans for process improvements.
• Manage projects both internally and externally.
• Define priorities within the dairy segment.
• Support the identification and implementation of new developments and improvements.
• Conduct customer training sessions and seminars.

What we expect you to bring

• University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Dairy Food Technology, Process Engineering, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline).
• Experience with analytical instruments and food technology.
• Strong process analysis skills and the ability to work independently.
• Fluent/native in the German language
• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally and internationally.
• Knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems is desirable.
