Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive, patient-focused, and tech-savvy Applications Specialist to join our team in Willoughby, Ohio. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between medical technology and daily clinical workflows. You will serve as a clinical expert responsible for product demonstrations, hands‑on customer training, and go‑live support for our radiology equipment and software solutions. Working closely with our field service engineers and sales reps, you will ensure our healthcare partners achieve optimal clinical outcomes, high user proficiency, and maximal value from their investments.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Training & Onboarding
- Customer Education: Develop and deliver customized on‑site and remote training programs tailored to radiologic technologists, radiologists, and clinical staff.
- Go‑Live & Adoption Support: Conduct follow‑up visits and assessments to monitor user proficiency, reinforce best practices, and deliver refresher training as needed.
- Resource Development: Maintain clear, accessible clinical training materials, quick‑reference guides, and workflow documentation.
- Pre‑Sales Demonstrations: Partner with the sales team to deliver engaging product demonstrations and clinical presentations for prospective clients.
- Clinical Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert during the sales cycle, answering technical and workflow questions to help close opportunities.
Implementation & Technical Collaboration
- System Setup & Configuration: Assist field engineering and service teams with the clinical setup, configuration, and integration of medical imaging devices and software solutions.
- Customer Feedback Loop: Serve as the main clinical liaison between healthcare end‑users and internal service or operations teams to resolve technical issues and convey feature requests.
Industry Knowledge & Continuous Improvement
- Market Awareness: Stay up to date with emerging radiology practices, industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and technological advancements to provide cutting‑edge support.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Radiology, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related healthcare discipline. Advanced clinical certifications (e.g., ARRT) are strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience in a hospital, imaging center, or healthcare setting. Prior experience in customer training, clinical application support, or medical device sales/education is highly desirable.
- Travel & Driver Requirements: Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as required to client sites.

Schedule & Location
- Schedule: Full‑Time, Day Shift (Monday–Friday) with flexibility for travel.
- Workplace: Hybrid (Willoughby, OH base / Local & Regional Travel to Client Facilities).
