United Imaging Healthcare North America, Inc. is seeking a MR Application Specialist to support radiology customers with onsite and remote training, education, and clinical workflow optimization from our Houston base.

You will assist the sales team with product demonstrations, develop training courses, provide rapid application support, and collaborate with R&D and CRM to address customer needs, with up to 75% travel.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a radiology technologist or radiographer in a healthcare setting.
  • 3+ years of experience as an application specialist in one modality.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer consultancy and support in workflow improvements and clinical education; adjust system parameters and implement new methods.
  • Provide on-site and remote application education, including demonstrations and updates.
  • Support sales team with product demonstrations and clinical case studies; coach new recruits.
  • Assist in development of application training courses to be delivered on-site or at the Houston HQ.
  • Support R&D/CRM processes with customer needs, issues, and troubleshooting know-how.
  • Note: Other duties as assigned.

The MR Application Specialist will also be supporting the customer service team with onsite and/or remote customer training and education, and support. Successful candidates will demonstrate the characteristics of authenticity and integrity that is needed to build meaningful and lasting relationships with our customers.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide customer consultancy and support in individual workflow improvements, including having the ability to deliver clinical education, adjustment of system parameters and implementation of new methodsand clinical workflows to expand customer portfolio.
  • Provide professional applications support to quickly process and resolve customer complaints; provide remote support when not on-site.
  • Provide on‑site application education, including demonstration, updates and upgrades for standard systems and applications.
  • Support sales team: product demonstrations, preparation of clinical case studies, presenting images to clinicians/physicians, new products learning and coaching of new recruits.
  • Assist in the development of application training courses to be delivered on‑site at a customer location or at the United Imaging Headquarters and Training Center in Houston.
  • Support the R&D/CRM process, including customer needs, issues, as well as provision of troubleshooting know-how and experience.

Note: Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in a specific or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a radiology technologist or radiographer in a healthcare industry/clinical setting and 3+ years of experience as an application specialist in one specific modality field.
  • Experience in research or case studies involving similar areas is beneficial
  • Team player has a positive attitude, enjoys working with people, and committed to providing excellent customer satisfaction
  • 1.5T, and 3T experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel frequently, 75%, with flexibility for higher travel commitments when necessary.

Working Conditions:
