Job summary

Amazon Leo Security is seeking an Application Security Engineer to help secure Leo Enterprise, Manufacturing, Lab, and Launch Operations. You will perform threat modeling, secure code reviews, and security assessments across a dynamic, satellite-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have strong coding skills (Python/Java) and AWS experience, with a proven ability to influence security decisions and drive security improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar OO language.
• 2+ years of scripting, programming and security code review in a common language (non-internship).
• 2+ years of troubleshooting systems issues, logs, or automation using CLI (non-internship).
• Bachelor's degree in STEM or IT Security.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain threat models for Leo Enterprise, Manufacturing, Lab, and Launch Operations domains.
• Perform manual and automated secure code review in Java or other languages.
• Conduct network and infrastructure assessments and develop security automation tools.
• Provide security training and outreach for internal development teams.
• Offer security architecture guidance and influence security decisions across teams.
• Address security problems with novel methods and drive improvements.
