Job summary

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions seeks an Application Manager to oversee a corporate IoT platform, including Oracle DBs, Elastic Search, Rabbit MQ, SOA, JBoss and Tomcat on Linux in the cloud.

You will analyze API issues, provide 3rd level support, and run SQL fixes through CI/CD pipelines while coordinating with vendors and other departments.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL (Oracle) and NoSQL experience; Linux file search and manipulation.
• Cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure) and basic DevOps concepts (CI/CD).
• MS Office skills, especially Excel, and ability to collaborate across teams.

Job description

• Our team operates a mobile communication platform for corporate IoT devices, including Oracle databases, Elastic Search, Rabbit MQ, SOA, JBoss, and Tomcat on Linux servers, mostly in the cloud.
• We are looking for a skilled Application Manager to ensure smooth operation and provide expert support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysing API related issues and providing 3rd level application support.
• Executing SQL fixes through CI/CD pipelines and performing problem management of assigned tickets.
• Organizing virtual meetings with other departments and software vendors when needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong SQL (preferably Oracle) and noSQL experience, plus Linux knowledge for searching and manipulating files.
• Experience in managing complex corporate applications and conceptual knowledge of cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, OTC, etc.).
• Basic DevOps understanding (CI/CD, pipelines), network topology knowledge, and MS Office skills, especially Excel.

Additional Information:

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with independent, structured, and reliable work habits.
• English knowledge at minimum B2 level; German is an advantage.
• Remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.
