Job title : Application Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Application Engineering Team Lead to strengthen our team. Your responsibilities will include supervising a team of application engineers, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Requirements :

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) applications or distributed power generation applications.
• Proven experience in application engineering or similar roles.
• Proficiency in English.
• Competency in MATLAB and relevant software for BESS system modeling, performance analysis, and optimization.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and practices.
• Strong knowledge of electricity, power generation, and the energy industry.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications :

• Prepare and approve technical documentation for projects and contribute to system configuration.
• Assess BESS systems according to current codes, industry standards, and regulations.
• Lead and coordinate the application engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
• Analyze project requirements to design customized BESS solutions for customers.
• Review and validate specifications, designs, qualifications, and certifications for BESS integration.
• Develop power systems at the system level, focusing on power conversion and plant management / SCADA systems.
• Create and implement action plans to meet customer requirements.
• Support bid and proposal teams by addressing technical questions during the bidding process.
• Lead technical reviews and approve BESS contracts with Bid Managers, ensuring compliance with specifications and customer needs.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and verify compatibility with third-party systems.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure efficient execution and delivery of BESS projects.
