Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. seeks an experienced Application Engineering Section Manager to lead the CPSD Application Engineering team in sales execution, proposal development, customer support, and project transitions.

You will direct operations, develop teams, ensure documentation accuracy, and monitor performance metrics while coordinating with Supply Chain and Service for successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical sales.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Application Engineering Section to execute CPSD sales strategies and meet divisional sales targets.
• Manage teams with training, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Oversee proposal review for technical accuracy and alignment with strategy.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics for proposals, submittals, and costs.
• Oversee customer orders from intake to delivery and coordinate with CPSD departments.
• Support sales forecasting and collaborate with Supply Chain for planning and pricing.
• Lead service project estimates and transitions to the Service organization.
• Create and maintain Level III SOPs and work instructions for consistency.
• Provide technical leadership for field service, meetings, and vendor engagements.
• Promote CPSD excellence through collaboration with customers and partners.
