Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking an Engineering Section Manager to lead the engineering functions supporting substation and power infrastructure design projects within our Substation Division.

You will oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams, external design partners, and equipment suppliers to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule while meeting customer requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with 7+ years in power/energy infrastructure projects.
• At least 3 years of engineering management or leadership experience.
• Advanced knowledge of substation design, electrical codes, and IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead substation engineering projects and approve designs, drawings, and calculations.
• Develop and mentor the engineering staff through coaching and training.
• Ensure quality assurance and improve engineering processes and standards.
