Job Description

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and oversee assigned products, from idea to production, ensuring quality, security, and reliability.
• Guide and mentor early-career engineers, fostering their growth and technical skills.
• Make architecture and application design decisions, leading to key product results.
• Address issues proactively, ensuring high system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet commitments and share knowledge.
• Contribute to and lead communities of practice in areas like design, security, and data.
• Establish and enforce IT standards aligned with platform architecture.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in IT, software engineering, or related experience.
• Internal applicants: proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus scale.

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

• Primarily stationary work in an indoor office environment.
• Ability to operate office equipment and communicate effectively in verbal and written forms.

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus points for experience with observability tools, Python scripting, automation, and data science or machine learning.

• Salary range: $89,000 - $150,200, plus incentives.
