Job summary

Greenheck Group, a global leader in air movement and ventilation, is seeking an experienced engineer to join our team. You will support customers and internal teams by solving complex technical issues and developing tailored solutions across our product lines.

The role may involve travel for diagnostics and field support. You’ll contribute to product roadmaps, engage with industry standards, mentor colleagues, and lead training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Engineering experience of 6–9 years required.
• Associate degree or equivalent years of job experience required.
• Bachelor degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist product support team via phone and email on complex technical issues.
• Develop solutions for unique applications including design and pricing.
• May travel to resolve field problems requiring diagnostics.
• Participate in industry codes and standard committees.
• Highlight selling points to sales teams and customers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them.
• Analyze competition to strengthen market position.
• Develop and present trainings for internal/external customers and trade associations.
• Lead offsite events and organize customer interactions.
• Provide input to leadership for strategic planning.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Aid product support team on complex technical support via phone and e-mail for both internal and external customers in the areas of selection and application.
• Develop and communicate solutions for unique and complex applications including design and special pricing.
• May travel to resolve field problems that require diagnostics or area of subject matter expertise.
• Participate in industry codes and standard committees to influence industry direction.
• Responsible for highlighting and communicating key selling points of our current products for delivery to our sales teams and customers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and work to implement where applicable.
• Continually evaluate our competition to further enhance the company’s marketplace, and use this knowledge to maintain and extend the company’s advantage in associated markets.
• Develop, organize and present trainings to internal/external customers and trade associations both onsite and offsite.
• Take a lead role in offsite events including planning, set up, and organize customer interactions
• Provide input to business unit leadership for strategic planning process.
• Participates and leads industry associations.
• Will provide mentoring, training, indirect supervision of other team members, or may have direct reports.
• Leverage relationships with rep network and sales channel to develop product roadmap.
• May manage complex team projects including determining timelines.
• Document service calls to record data on product questions and field issues.

What You Should Have

• 6-9 years of relevant work experience in engineering required.
• 2 Year / Associate Degree or equivalent years of job experience required.
• 4 Year / Bachelor Degree preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay along with a comprehensive benefits package as part of our total rewards program. The starting base pay range for this position is $105,630-$130,485 and may vary based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
