Job summary

Hyperion Materials & Technologies is seeking an Application Engineer to support growth in the carbide rod segment. You will work with customers and internal teams to optimize the product line, implement pricing strategies, and expand ecommerce offerings while analyzing VOC input for new products.

The role requires 3–5 years in commercial or engineering roles, a BS/BA in engineering or business, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

Experience in commercial or engineering roles in a manufacturing context.
Ability to interpret customer requests and translate them into actionable opportunities.
Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Optimize the product line by completing item setup for special/non-stocked items.
Enhance offset product offerings and deliver industry-leading lead times.
Execute pricing plans and analyze opportunities to optimize prices regionally.
Expand ecommerce product offerings with accurate descriptions and new items.
Support new product development with VOC input and business case analysis.
Troubleshoot order issues for key accounts and coordinate cross-functional tasks.
Understand application requirements and competitive landscape through direct customer interaction.
Provide technical and quality support across customers, sales, and manufacturing teams.
