Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an Application Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between customers and manufacturing operations in Seattle. You will manage customer quotes, production planning, and DF M input across additive, CNC, welding, sheet metal, powder coating, and assembly processes.

The role requires 3+ years across multiple manufacturing modalities, CAD proficiency, and strong cost estimation skills.

Qualifications

3+ years of manufacturing experience across multiple processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with GD&T.
Experience with at least two manufacturing modalities and CAD tooling.

Responsibilities

Review customer requirements and drawings to assess feasibility across manufacturing modalities.
Generate quotes with material costs, labor estimates, and lead times for complex multi‑process projects.
Provide DF M feedback to optimize parts for various processes and refine designs with customers.
Plan and schedule jobs across processes to optimize throughput and meet delivery commitments.
Prepare manufacturing files, including 3D printing prep, CNC coordination, and sheet metal nesting.
Conduct capacity planning to balance demand with resources.
Collaborate with managers to ensure smooth quote-to-production transitions.
