Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Application Engineer (Mechanical/Manufacturing) in Kansas City, MO. This on-site, permanent role focuses on delivering technical guidance, troubleshooting complex processes, and crafting tailored proposals to integrate our equipment with customers' manufacturing lines.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering and 2–3 years of SMT/semiconductor experience, plus familiarity with statistical tools and electro-mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 2–3 years of experience in SMT or semiconductor applications preferred.
• Working knowledge of statistical tools for electronics manufacturing processes.
• Foundational understanding of electro‑mechanical systems across electrical, mechanical and software.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and workmanship requirements in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide application and technical guidance on products to customers and internal partners.
• Troubleshoot complex system and process challenges and propose workable alternatives.
• Assess customer requirements and build tailored proposals and presentations.
