Job summary

MacLean Power Systems in Monroe, NC seeks a seasoned leader to guide ITEC’s Application Engineering team, providing technical support to customers and cross-functional groups.

You will develop product and application knowledge, train engineers, support sales with product approvals, interpret customer requirements for quotes, and help shape future product roadmaps through collaboration with engineering, quality, and channel partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility metering or relaying applications is preferred.
• Experience with electric utility or electrical equipment manufacturer in the power utility space.

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain a proficient level of ITEC product and application knowledge.
• Provide technical training to clients or internal users.
• Train Application Engineers to ensure that they can work independently with customers’ engineering groups.
• Monitor and Mentor Application Engineers.
• Train Sales Representatives and visit target customers to assist Sales Reps with product approvals.
• Analyze & interpret customer requirements to help provide accurate quotations & ensure profitable growth.
• Communicate with Channel Partners, MPS Sales Channels, ITEC Engineering, & ITEC Quality Departments.
• Support industry events and technical conferences as needed.
• Gather competitive information to assist Product Management with future product roadmaps.
• Assist Quality with customer issues and concerns.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure organizational and or client requirements are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Experience and Education
