The role blends backend C# API work with frontend Angular UI development across enterprise web apps in the financial services space. You will own design, development, and support of REST APIs, Angular components, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with product teams and QA to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in C# and ASP.NET Core for REST APIs and SOA.
• Experience with Angular 18+ and TypeScript.
• Strong SQL Server skills including queries and schema design.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with unit and integration testing frameworks.
• Strong web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, responsive design.
• Knowledge of Agile practices like sprint planning and backlog grooming.

Responsibilities

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Application Engineer Lead for a contract assignment with one of our premier Infrastructure Services clients in Scottsdale, AZ, Atlanta, GA or Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities

Hiring a Full Stack Developer to own the design, development, and support of enterprise web applications across our .NET backend and Angular frontend. You'll work on applications serving thousands of users in the Financial Services sector, collaborating with product teams, architects, and QA to ship features that matter.

The role is equally backend and frontend—expect 50/50 split between C# API work and Angular UI development, with SQL Server and DevOps expertise supporting both.

• Core Development (75%)
  • Design and implement REST APIs and backend services in ASP.NET Core and C#
  • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces in Angular 18+ and TypeScript
  • Optimize SQL Server queries and maintain database schema
  • Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality
• Delivery & Operations (20%)
  • Support applications through Azure DevOps—from sprint planning through production deployment
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, staging, and production

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 years of professional software development (equivalent practical experience considered)
• C# and ASP.NET Core — comfortable building REST APIs, service-oriented architecture, dependency injection
• Angular 18+ — modern component design, reactive forms, TypeScript fundamentals
• SQL Server — query optimization, stored procedures, database design
• Azure DevOps — source control, work item tracking, CI/CD pipeline management
• Testing frameworks— unit testing (xUnit, NUnit) and integration testing
• Web fundamentals — HTML5, CSS3, responsive design principles
• Agile practices— sprint planning, estimation, backlog grooming
