Our Application Engineer 2 role supports complex customer applications and projects involving pumps and hygienic systems from an office, collaborating with sales and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate quotes and orders.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in application or process engineering.
• Experience with pumps and hygienic process equipment.
• ERP, quote, BOM, and order-accuracy workflows experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical application resource for customers via phone and email.
• Interpret customer process requirements, P&IDs, and specifications.
• Size, select, and support pumps and related hygienic process equipment.
• Apply engineering judgment to recommend practical, accurate solutions.
• Explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify risks, assumptions, gaps and communicate proactively.
• Prepare, review, and support complex quotes involving pumps and process systems.
• Build and review BOMs for engineered assemblies.
• Enter/verify technical data within ERP systems.
• Partner with inside sales to resolve application-related issues.
