Leoforce is seeking an Applications Engineer in the United States to own customer projects from quotation through implementation, collaborating with customers, distributors, sales, and engineers to deliver engineered solutions for real-world industrial applications.

Mid-level role requiring a engineering degree and 2+ years in manufacturing or related fields, with travel to support customers and initiatives. Base salary ranges from 85k to 100k plus a 4k annual bonus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; mechanical preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years engineering experience in manufacturing/industrial equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with hydraulics, fluid power, pneumatics or related products preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical expert for an industrial product line.
  • Own customer projects from quotation through implementation and support.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and propose engineered solutions.
  • Prepare technical quotations, pricing recommendations, and product proposals.
  • Support Territory Managers, distributors, and customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and application requirements.
  • Deliver technical product training and presentations for customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product management to support new products, product improvements, and customer solutions.
  • Assist with technical documentation, product literature, and inventory recommendations.
  • Travel to support customers and business initiatives.

As an Applications Engineer, you'll work directly with customers, distributors, sales professionals, and fellow engineers to develop engineered solutions for real-world industrial applications. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Mechanical Engineering preferred, but all engineering disciplines will be considered).
  • Associate degree with directly applicable engineering experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineered products, automation, fluid handling, motion control, or similar industries.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with hydraulics, fluid power, pneumatics, filtration, or other engineered products is preferred but not required.
  • Lean manufacturing experience a plus
