Job summary

Flint Power Systems in Albany, GA, is seeking an Applications Engineer (Diesel Engines) to lead test plans for in-house products and OEM applications. You will run both lab and field tests using data acquisition systems and a water brake dynamometer, supporting development and prototyping of new products.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical engineering.
• Strong communication skills to interact with sales force and OEM engineering teams.
• Hands-on aptitude with engines and power-train components in off-highway applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute test plans for in-house products and various off-road OEM applications.
• Conduct in-house and baseline tests in a stand-alone test facility with a water brake dynamometer and data acquisition system.
• Perform field testing on OEM equipment in real-world environments using the same data acquisition setup.
• Assist with prototyping of new products and contribute to product development.
