Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking an Application Engineer to support electrical consultants and end-user customers in Austin, Grapevine, Houston, or San Antonio, TX. The role combines technical design support with sales expertise to specify and position Eaton power solutions.

Responsibilities include leading technical design for critical power systems, mentoring sales engineers, and delivering product seminars to consultants and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum seven years of electrical sales/marketing and/or engineering experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical consultants and in-house engineering staff with critical power infrastructure.
• Act as primary technical contact for design teams at customer accounts.
• Provide technical product and application leadership for external clients.
• Aid large bids with submittals drawings, interpretation, and interfacing with consultants and owners.
• Facilitate collaboration between customers and Eaton product lines; suggest design recommendations.
• Conduct product seminars and training for consultant firms and end customers.
• Mentor Gulf Region Sales Engineers and others within the NAS organization.
