Job summary

Alimak Group in Wisconsin is seeking an Application Engineer to bridge customer needs with technical solutions, serving as the primary technical resource for sales and operations. You will evaluate requirements, design tailored solutions, and ensure successful implementation of industrial products and systems.

You will maintain BOMs and manufacturing drawings, support fabrication and ERP data, and collaborate with R&D to launch product ranges in North America.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software (prefer SolidWorks).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of ERP systems, AS400 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides installation drawings for projects (guardrails, lifelines, and other systems).
• Maintains BOM structures and manufacturing drawings; supports fabrication with drawing requests.
• Supports supply chain with vendor inquiries and supplier evaluations.
• Performs calculations for product ranges and creates/updates BOMs in ERP.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal manufacturing regulations.
• Communicates quality issues and recommendations across departments.
