Job summary

Omron Healthcare, Inc. in Dallas, TX, is seeking an OEI Application Engineer to support SPI, AOI, and AXI inspection solutions. This non-remote role focuses on customer-facing support, training, and technical demonstrations.

A four-year engineering degree and SMT-related experience are preferred. The position requires traveling to customer sites as needed and collaboration with sales, service, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from an accredited four-year institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
• Experience: 4+ years of SMT-manufacturing related experience (inspection-focused role preferred) with capital equipment support experience and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expert knowledge of Omron inspection solution portfolio, standards, and industry trends.
• Maintain expert level knowledge of equipment operation and programming.
• Assist customers with equipment decisions, questions and technical discussions.
• Support demonstrations and evaluations with the sales team (technical sales role).
• Provide remote, phone and on-site customer support and training.
