OEI APPLICATION ENGINEER AOI-OEIAEO
Omron Inspection Systems Division is seeking an energetic application engineer to be part of a dynamic team and work alongside advanced technology. The AE role is responsible for the dedicated support of Omron’s automated inspection solutions (SPI, AOI & AXI). This position is located at our Dallas, Texas location and is non-remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFCATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from an accredited four-year institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)

Physical Requirements: While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is often required to talk, hear at normal speaking levels, sit and use their hands and fingers to type, handle or feel, including repetitive motions with the wrists, hands and fingers. Activities include extended periods of sitting, standing and walking. Traveling to visit customers may require continued walking, up to a mile in distance at a time.
Environmental Factors: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposure to manufacturing environments, factories, mills, office, mines and treatment plants. Environments will vary depending on the customer you are visiting.
Other Requirements: A deemed Export License may be required.
Travel Requirements : Willingness to work irregular schedules/hours and the ability to travel up to 50 – 75%
