• Willingness to travel 25-40%.

Application Engineer - Aero Structure

Location: Mason, OH (Corporate Headquarters)

The Opportunity

We're seeking an Applications Engineer with deep experience in aerospace machining to join our team. In this role, you'll provide technical expertise that supports our sales force and customers, with a focus on aerospace structural and engine components. You'll leverage your skills in multi-axis machining (3, 4, and 5-axis) and high-speed cutting techniques to lead test cuts, demonstrations, training, and technical knowledge transfer. This is a hands-on engineering role based at our corporate headquarters in Mason, OH, with travel to customer sites as needed.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience with Makino equipment is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and professional presence when working directly with customers.
• Technical aptitude, logical troubleshooting, and sound decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Willingness to travel 25-40% (short-duration trips).
