Job summary

Kensington360 is seeking an Application Engineer II for their Pumping Solutions line in the United States. You will serve as the technical bridge between customers and internal teams, sizing pumps, reviewing specs, and delivering engineered quotes.

You will collaborate across engineering, sales and operations, contribute to BOM creation, and drive continuous improvement while delivering exceptional customer service. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum five years' experience across Engineering, Production, Technical Support or Customer Service.
• At least three years in a technical engineering role.
• Experience with rotating equipment is highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
• Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing.
• Technical proposal preparation.

Responsibilities

• Selecting and sizing pumps and motors based on customer operating conditions.
• Reviewing technical specifications to ensure compliance.
• Producing accurate technical quotations and proposals.
• Acting as the primary technical contact throughout the sales process.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Operations and Project Management teams.
• Creating Bills of Materials and part numbers.
• Supporting non-standard customer requests.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Delivering an outstanding customer experience.

We're partnering with an innovative engineering organisation looking for an Application Engineer II to join their Engineer-to-Order (ETO) team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with global customers, providing engineered pumping solutions across a wide range of industrial applications.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Application Engineer, you'll act as the technical bridge between customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring every solution is engineered to meet application requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Selecting and sizing pumps and motors based on customer operating conditions
• Reviewing technical specifications to ensure compliance

What We're Looking For
