Job summary

Keysight Technologies in New Jersey seeks an experienced Application Engineer to engage with channel teams and customers, delivering presales technical expertise for power and general-purpose products.

You will develop technical content, perform demonstrations, train sales engineers, and guide customers on instrument configurations and measurement methods to meet test requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering roles.
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages (C/C++, Python, MATLAB).
• Familiarity with Keysight power products and general-purpose measurement products.
• Experience creating application notes, demonstrations, training materials, or customer presentations.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical presentations, application notes, webinars, example code and demonstrations.
• Deliver technical presentations and training to customers, sales engineers, and internal teams.
• Provide technical guidance on product capabilities, specifications, and performance tradeoffs.
• Troubleshoot instrument, measurement, and software issues.
• Work with customers and field teams to understand test requirements and recommend instruments, configurations, and measurement methods.

Keysight Technologies is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Application Engineer to engage with channel team and customers to grow Keysight’s power and general-purpose products portfolio. This position requires an ambitious individual with a passion for working with key customers to understand their application and test requirements. You will work in a team environment to provide presales technical and application expertise in the creation of application content to support our digital demand generation initiatives to drive awareness and preference for power and general-purpose products.

• Familiarity with Keysight power products and general-purpose measurement products (DC Power Supply, AC Source, Electronic Load, DMM, Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generation, Data Acquisition System).
• Experience creating application notes, technical demonstrations, training materials, or customer presentations.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills

Pay Transparency

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education, and skills. Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

New Jersey Pay Range: Minimum $112,830 – Maximum $188,080

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
