Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Application Engineer to serve as a technical leader, translating customer requirements into coating and manufacturing solutions, and partnering with customers and internal teams to drive growth.

This role focuses on development programs, qualification efforts, and commercialization of new technologies, with an emphasis on Lean/Six Sigma, data-driven decision making, and hands-on startup support to ensure manufacturing

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial processing, product development or application engineering environments.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Experience with Python, Excel, or similar data analysis tools.

• Enable manufacturing success by developing tooling, automation, equipment programs and technical documentation while providing hands‑on troubleshooting and startup support
• Influence outcomes and deliver results by leading cross‑functional collaboration and executing projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards

What Makes You Great

• Bring your engineering expertise to life with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline and a passion for solving real‑world challenges
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial processing, product development or application engineering environments
• Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings, customer specifications and technical standards to drive successful outcomes
• Experience with CAD, tooling and fixture design, automation, robotics, coating equipment, and / or related manufacturing technologies
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience leveraging data, continuous improvement methodologies, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, collaborate across functions, communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders and travel as business needs require
• Experience with Python, Excel or similar data analysis and programming tools is preferred, as is exposure in automotive, aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
• Background in statistical analysis, process capability studies and process optimization is preferred
