Job summary

Verto People Ltd is seeking a CNC Applications Engineer to support customers and distributors with technical demonstrations and training on CNC machine tools across Southern California. The role focuses on process development, machining optimization, and hands-on demonstrations.

You will train customers, analyze part requirements, and provide on-site technical support while collaborating with engineers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in CNC machining.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, workholding, and production optimization.
• Experience with CNC controls (Mazatrol, Fanuc, Siemens or similar).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert training and technical demonstrations on CNC machinery to customers and distributors across Southern California.
• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits regarding CNC operation and processes.
• Perform test cuts, machine demonstrations, and process validation to prove machining concepts and capabilities.
• Analyze customer part requirements and recommend machining solutions, tooling, and methods.
• Support turnkey projects from concept through training and implementation.
• Assist with machine installations, trade shows, and demonstrations.

A leading manufacturer of CNC machinery, 5-axis machining centers and CNC lathes is seeking a CNC Application Engineer / CNC Programmer to support customers and distributors with technical demonstrations and training on their CNC machine tools across Southern California.

• Provide expert training and technical demonstrations on a range of CNC machinery including 5-axis machining centers and CNC lathes to customers and distributors across Southern California.
• Provide technical support to customers through phone, email, and on-site visits regarding CNC machine operation, applications, and process optimization.
• Perform test cuts, machine demonstrations, and process validation to prove machining concepts and demonstrate machine capabilities.
• Analyze customer part requirements and recommend suitable machining solutions, including machine configuration, tooling, and manufacturing methods.
• Support turnkey projects from initial concept through process development, testing, implementation, and customer training.
• Assist with machine installations, trade shows and demonstrations.
• Prior experience as a CNC Application Engineer or CNC Programmer.
• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in CNC machining / CNC Programming, manufacturing technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, workholding, and production optimization.
• Experience with CNC controls (Mazatrol, Fanuc, Siemens or a similar control)
• Experience with CAD/CAM programming software such as Mastercam, Esprit, Fusion 360, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with customers, engineers, and internal teams.
