Job summary

Adecco's client is seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer with CNC programming and machinist expertise in the Orange County area. This full-time role focuses on part programming, process development, and customer training in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include pre-sale activities, cost estimation, and interpreting plans and specifications. Travel to customer sites up to 50%, domestic and international, is required.

Adecco's client is currently hiring for a new full-time Senior Field Application Engineer witn CNC programming and machinist expertise in the Orange County area:

Job Responsibilities

• Part programming of CNC machines, process development, and customer training in a manufacturing environment
• Conduct pre-sale activities including customer visits, machine assessment, and recommendations
• Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
• Interpreting part prints, plans, and specifications
• Create time studies and perform first part run off
• Programming, setup, and training of Citizen and Miyano CNC lathes and CNC vertical or horizontal mills
• Provide customer support via phone and travel to customer sites
• Align and interface bar feed unit
• Travel required in tri-state area (up to 50%), domestic and international
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications & Skills

• 7-10+ years of programming and machinist experience with CNC machines; Swiss screw machine experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Excellent and effective communication skills
• High School or equivalent; some college courses preferred
• Travel required – local (up to 50%), domestic and international
