As an Applications Engineer specializing in Gasket Design, you will:

1. Collaborate with premier aftermarket and OEM customers to understand and fulfill gasket design requirements.
2. Utilize CAD software to create detailed prints and new layouts for dies and injection molds.
3. Manage the tooling department’s schedules to ensure timely completion of new products.
4. Partner with R&D department to develop and validate new designs and materials.
5. Provide technical support and materials recommendations to the sales team.
6. Collaborate with Quality and Production to ensure that product design and customer expectations align with manufacturing capabilities.
7. Input pertinent information into the MRP system for new products to ensure proper BOM and manufacturing routings are established.

Experience and Proficiencies: At least 3-5 years of experience in the automotive or powersports industry, specifically working with powertrain components. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is required.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
