Impact You'll Make

Develop proposal content that adds value to customers and GE Vernova, while minimizing risks and standardizing products to avoid unnecessary customization. Follow GE Vernova Gas Power standards and drive consistent global processes for project implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for technical content of proposals for GEV Combined Cycle power plant configurations, collaborating with Commercial Operations, Product Engineering, and Product Management to secure profitable projects.
• Coordinate timely evaluation of customer requirements via RFP review to ensure proper selection of GEV Generator and electrical systems scope.
• Evaluate and develop comments on RFPs, identifying compliance and gaps with customer specifications.
• Analyze customer conditions to develop or assist in developing generator electrical designs.
• Identify special customer requirements and develop strategies with engineering and sourcing teams for competitive solutions.
• Document customer-specific configurations and assist in developing proposal costs, clearly communicating strategies behind configurations and costs.
• Participate in internal and customer meetings to strategize and clarify technical aspects during negotiations.
• Interpret customer requirements to ensure proper application of GE equipment, maintaining competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure timely completion of proposal activities, aligning with quality, cost, reliability, and performance goals.
• Communicate issues with schedules or requirements early to enable resolution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma/GED with at least 9 years of generator engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in engineering, customer proposals, or related generator/electrical systems in gas power equipment.
• Demonstrate GE Vernova Way principles: Innovation, Customer Service, Lean Mindset, Teamwork, and Accountability.

Additional Information

For U.S. candidates, the base salary range is $88,600 - $147,600 USD/year, with potential for a 10% performance bonus. Salary may vary based on experience, education, and skills. The position is eligible for geographic differentials and remains open until at least 5/1/25.
