Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an Application Developer in Oklahoma City for a 12-month contract / full-time role. You will build secure, scalable cloud-based applications, collaborate with external teams and stakeholders, and participate in Agile processes to deliver high-quality software.

You will work across .NET web/api development, UI tech, and Azure-based services, focusing on performance, code quality, and modern deployment workflows. Prior experience with SQL Server and DevOps is helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field or 2–4 years of applications development experience.
• Experience in two or more areas: web/API development, UI technologies, or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of web services, XML/JSON/HTTP/SSL/TCPIP; familiarity with caching and database optimization.

Requirements

• TheApplication Developer will be responsible for writing high-quality,maintainable, reusable, and secure code while resolving complex systemintegration challenges in collaboration with external teams, workingclosely with business stakeholders to understand pain points and designsolutions. In an Agile environment, they will review and contribute totechnical designs, implement features, demonstrate developedfunctionality, build and enhance cloud-based applications, monitorperformance, manage parameters for fast front-end responses, and helpautomate and improve development workflows.
  
• Theywill also study the feasibility of proposed software applications orsystem modifications by identifying potential requirements and systemrestrictions.
  
• Therole requires software development experience in any two of the followingareas: Web and API development (.NET stack), UI technologies(React/Angular, Node.js, etc.), or Microsoft Azure/other cloud platforms;in-depth knowledge of technologies such as Web Services, XML, JSON, HTTP,SSL, TCP/IP, and caching; experience with Azure DevOps workflows, Agilemethodologies, SQL Server services, T-SQL, stored procedures, databaseoptimization, and source control (Git); and the ability to learn newcoding languages and technologies.
  
• Educationand Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor's degreein computer science, management information systems, or related field; or2-4 years of experience in applications development; or an equivalentcombination of education and experience, substituting one year ofexperience in applications development for each year of requirededucation.
