Job summary

Delan Associates, Inc seeks an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer in New York to lead design and development of data-driven applications. The role covers enterprise-scale software, strong database skills, and SPA web front-ends using AngularJS, REST APIs, and SOA standards.

You will work across the SDLC, collaborate with QA, and drive architectural decisions while delivering robust, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with the listed skill sets.
• Experience in writing application software, data analysis, and data access.
• Proficient in data structures, databases, design, programming, testing, and implementation.
• Strong technical and user documentation; experience with technical specifications, state diagrams, and QA walkthroughs.
• Exposure to mainframe, mid-range, and PC environments.
• Lead in designing program specifications and software solution implementations in an Agile environment; enterprise architecture experience.
• Designing 3-tiered applications and SOA/web service trends.
• Proficient in .NET (VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB6, C#, JavaScript, XML, WEB Services, VBScript).
• Strong Oracle DB backend experience; complex SQL, stored procedures, PL/SQL, TOAD.
• Web app development with HTML/CSS/JS, jQuery, AJAX, JSON; expertise in LINQ and Entity Framework.
• Experience with SPA development using AngularJS; REST API integration.
• SSIS package development for data extraction/ loading (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Full SDLC involvement from design to maintenance and support.

Required Skills

A minimum of 6 years of experience with the following skill sets:

• Writing application software, data analysis, data access


• Data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation


• Technical and user documentation, software conversions. Experience in creating Technical Specification Documents, State Diagrams and conducting technical walkthrough with QA team.


• Exposure to environments include but are not limited to mainframe, mid-range, personal computers, laptops


• Lead in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions. Extensive experience working under Agile methodologies environment, and experience with enterprise-level software architecture


• Designing 3 tiered applications


• .Net Framework including: VB.Net, ASP.NET, Experience with ADO.NET, VB6, Java Script, XML, WEB Service, VBScript, C#, Object oriented concepts and technologies


• Oracle database Backend processing and extensive experience in relational database development, for creating complex database queries, Constraints, Indexes, Views, Packages, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Cursors and Functions using TOAD, PL/SQL Developer


• Developing Web Applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON. Expert knowledge using LINQ, and Entity Framework


• Knowledge of SOA trends, SOA standards including web services, XML, XSLT, SOAP, WSDLs, and WCF


• Proficient at developing Single Page Application (SPA) with AngularJS controllers, directives, factories, services, routing, DOM manipulation using JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, and REST API


• Developing SSIS packages for extracting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data from different sources like XML, Excel, Text files and databases (Oracle, SQL server)


• Professional experience as Full Stack (Database/.Net) developer in all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including User Interaction, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing, Deployment, Customer Support, Maintenance and Enhancements of applications
