Qualifications

• Experience with at least two areas: Web/API development using .NET stack.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to join a dynamic technology team supporting the design, development, and enhancement of modern business applications. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with the potential for extension and possible conversion to a permanent position based on business needs and performance.

In this role, you will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions in an Agile development environment. You will contribute to application architecture, build cloud-based solutions, and help improve development processes through automation and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality, secure, and reusable application code.
• Collaborate with business partners and technical teams to identify requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Build and enhance web applications, APIs, and cloud-based services.
• Participate in technical design reviews and provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and system integration issues.
• Monitor application performance and optimize front-end and back-end responsiveness.
• Support Agile development practices, including sprint planning, demonstrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in at least two of the following areas:Web application and API development using the .NET stack
• Modern front-end development using React, Angular, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Cloud platform development, preferably Microsoft Azure or comparable environments
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and integration technologies.
• Experience working with XML, JSON, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, and application performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, and modern source control practices.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Proficiency with SQL databases, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and programming languages.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or
• 2 to 4 years of professional application development experience; or
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant development experience.
