Job summary

We expect 2–4 years of professional experience in application development, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and hands-on skills in .NET, UI development, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to support the planning, development, execution, and completion of IT-related projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions within established timelines and budgets.

The Application Developer will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to understand business requirements, address system challenges, and develop secure, scalable, and maintainable applications. The role will involve working in an Agile environment and contributing throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality, secure, reusable, and maintainable applications.
• Analyze and resolve complex application and system integration challenges in collaboration with internal and external technical teams.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business needs, pain points, and functional requirements.
• Review and contribute to technical designs and solution architecture.
• Develop and implement new application features and enhancements.
• Demonstrate completed functionality to stakeholders and technical teams.
• Build, enhance, and maintain cloud-based applications.
• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Manage application parameters and configurations to improve front-end responsiveness.
• Automate and improve software development and deployment workflows.
• Evaluate the feasibility of proposed software applications, enhancements, and system modifications.
• Identify technical requirements, system limitations, dependencies, and potential risks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, development, testing, and delivery activities.
• Collaborate with development, database, infrastructure, and other technical teams as required.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and learn new programming languages, frameworks, and development tools as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should have software development experience in at least two of the following areas:

• Web and API Development: .NET / Microsoft technology stack
• UI Development: React, Angular, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Cloud Technologies: Microsoft Azure or other major cloud platforms

Additional required experience includes:

• Strong knowledge of web services and API technologies.
• Understanding of XML, JSON, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, and caching.
• Experience with Azure DevOps workflows and tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and related services.
• Hands-on experience with T-SQL and stored procedures.
• Experience with database optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience using Git or other source control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Ability and willingness to learn new programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, or
• 2–4 years of professional experience in application development, or
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Equivalent experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis, where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-level applications.
• Experience with cloud-native application development.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated development workflows.
• Strong understanding of application security and secure coding practices.
• Experience troubleshooting performance and integration issues across multiple systems.
