Hylaine in Dallas seeks a Senior Application Development consultant to join our consulting pool. You’ll lead a team, tackle a broad range of client problems, and choose the right tool for the job, with a strong emphasis on systems languages.

You’ll mentor peers, design pragmatic software solutions, and collaborate with clients using modern web stacks and cloud-aware practices. A robust grounding in languages like C#, Java, JavaScript or Python, plus Agile workflows, is expected.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in software development and consulting.
• Solid knowledge of a major web-focused language/platform combinations: C# + ASP.NET | Java + Spring | JS + Node | Python + Django
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/JS/CSS) and JS frameworks like Angular/React/Vue
• Experience with Agile, QA, and ALM tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
• Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Strong written and verbal communication to work with teams and clients.

As a Senior Application Development consultant, you form the backbone of our consulting pool. You will be exposed to a little bit of everything, with a strong focus on systems languages and choosing the right tool for the job. You will be leading a team to build solutions and solve problems for our clients.
What you’ll need:

• 5+ years of experience – We need you to hit the ground running, and to be ready to mentor the next generation of top-tier consultants.
• Solid knowledge of a major web-focused language/platform combination: C# + ASP.NET | Java + Spring | JS + Node | Python + Django
• Basic or better knowledge of front-end web technologies: The basics (HTML/JS/CSS) and a JS framework as a plus (Angular, React, Vue)
• Working knowledge of software development processes, Agile methodologies, QA, and ALM tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
• Working knowledge of how databases interface with what you build. Relational preferred, non-relational appreciated
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to work our teams and clients.
  

Extra Credit:

• Experience with one of the major Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience with data layer integration technologies such as Entity Framework (EF) or Dapper.
• DevOps and modern CI/CD practices in Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
• Experience with containerization and microservice architecture.
