Akina, Inc. is seeking an Application Developer 3 in Fort Meade, MD to design, develop and integrate CNO software for mission-focused projects.

You will work with analysts, operators and data scientists to deliver end-to-end tooling that meets critical national security needs. The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and full lifecycle SWE experience across Linux/Windows/embedded environments, plus proficiency in C/C++/Python and reverse engineering using Ghidra.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 12+ years software development, or Master's with 10+ years.
• Four additional SWE years may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Salary range shown in the ad: $245k-$299k annually.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, prototype, modify and integrate CNO solutions to meet mission needs.
• Collaborate with analysts, operators, data scientists and other software engineers for mission-centric results.
• Augment existing toolsets and document, derive and analyze requirements.
• Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements and create end toolsets.
• Work with customer leadership to build relationships to enable and improve mission success.
