Job summary

Akina Inc. is seeking an Application Developer 2 to perform CNO reverse engineering and software development for network-based devices in a fast-paced, mission-centric environment.

You will work with analysts, operators, data scientists and other software engineers to provide tactical support. The candidate should have Linux/Unix experience, hands-on reverse engineering with Ghidra or IDA Pro, and strong C/C++/Python/assembly skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science or Computer Engineering with six years of software development, or a Master’s with four years.
• Experience with reverse engineering Linux-based network devices using Ghidra and/or IDA Pro.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network traffic analysis using Wireshark.
• Experience producing software in C/C++/Python/Assembly.
• Familiarity with Git and Subversion and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience delivering production-ready tools within mission constraints.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNO reverse engineering and CNO software development for network-based devices.
• Design, implement and integrate tactical software solutions in a fast-paced, mission-centric environment.
• Collaborate with analysts, operators, data scientists and other software engineers to provide mission support.
• Derive, document, and analyze stakeholder requirements.
• Port, modify or augment existing toolsets.
• Provide rapid prototypes for early validation and user feedback.
