Job summary

Atos is seeking experienced Mainframe professionals to join a production support and development team. You will work on legacy mainframe applications, perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident response in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with on-site teams, coordinate with business users, and mentor junior staff while driving process improvements and automation initiatives to maintain SLA commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Mainframe development and Production Support projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM.
• Provide L1/L2 production support for Mainframe applications.
• Monitor batch jobs and resolve job abends, failures, and issues within SLA timelines.
• Handle Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management activities.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve COBOL/JCL/DB2/CICS/VSAM issues and scheduling tools.
• Coordinate with business users, onsite teams, and cross-functional support teams.
• Lead Major Incident Management (MIM) and bridge calls for outages.
• Execute emergency fixes, deployments, and validation activities.
• Drive automation initiatives and process improvements in operations.
• Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge assets.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations; experience with SLA-driven support.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and Service Management best practices.
• Experience in customer-facing roles and stakeholder communications.
