Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of software development experience.
• 3 years of experience with database technologies.
• 5 years of experience with SDLC processes.
• 3 years of experience in systems analysis including defining requirements and high-level design.
• Experience programming with RPG, Java, SQL, Angular, APIs design and implementation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation on business requirements and functional specifications for software solutions.
• Review development or modification of enterprise software to ensure alignment with architecture standards.
• Split time between design/mentorship and hands-on coding tasks (approximately 50/50).
• Develop and validate complex software designs and prototypes.
• Guide technical direction for development and integration across environments.
• Document detailed requirements, designs and test scripts for enhancements.
• Lead code management and production deployment practices adhering to IT policies.
• Mentor team members and advise on methodologies, policies, and controls.
