Job summary

Centric Software is seeking an Application Consultant to join our planning team in France. The role is home-based with global reach, reporting to the Client Services Director.

You will lead technical design and configuration to deliver best-practice forecasting and planning solutions for fashion and retail clients. The ideal candidate has strong IT architecture knowledge, experience in professional services, and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional services or consultancy environment providing specialist skills to clients.
• Ability to gather requirements to a high standard.
• Willing to travel to customer sites.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience facilitating client workshops and liaising with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the planning solution set up and configuration.
• Participate in functional solution design.
• Plan and configure the planning solution in target environments.
• Deliver well-tested planning solution configurations from solution designs.
• Integrate planning with client systems and data flows using proprietary ETL tools.
• Develop customer-specific procedures and document best practices.
• Support knowledge transfer to project teams and client staff.

Centric Software is looking for a Application Consultant to join our growing planning team in France. The successful candidate should provide solution and technical skills in a fast-moving environment. You will need to be a leader,quick thinking and driven to provide planning solutions that deliver value to our clients. You will be working directly with our clients, internal and external partners to lead the technical design and configuration requirements to provide best practice planning architecture.

About the Team

The Centric planning team are leading the market in the delivery of first-class planning solutions for the fashion and retail industries. A dynamic and driven team of technical and business experts delivering end-to-end planning systems and driving customer project success. The teams are all home based in different countries around the World. The role reports into the Client Services Director.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the planning solution set up and configuration
• Participate to functional solution design
• Planning solution set up in target environments
• Deliver well tested planning solution configuration starting from solution design provided by solution architects and assist in the preparation of user and execute system test plans
• Integration of planning with Client systems landscape. Integration of data flows by the configuration of our proprietary ETL tools
• Development of customer specific procedures
• Support knowledge transfer to other project team members and support organization and performance of tests
• Work in autonomy, actively managing own Task List by ensuring that it is accurate and is updated on a weekly basis
• Engage in peer reviews of colleague’s work, as appropriate to experience and expertise
• Provide training and assistance to colleagues where appropriate

Skills

• General comprehension of IT systems architecture
• Good Microsoft SQL Server knowledge
• Previous experience of working in a professional services / service environment, providing specialist consultancy skills to clients
• Experience in facilitating client workshops and liaising with senior stakeholders.
• Requirements gathering to high standard
• Gap analysis and writing functional specifications
• Ability to produce clear, accurate and articulate AS-IS and TO-BE business processes
• Willing to travel to customer sites
