Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp seeks a skilled IT professional to support and enhance Work Management software across CREWS, SAP Work Management, FEU Maps, and related interfaces. The role emphasizes configuration, integration, and data-driven problem solving in a remote-first environment.

You will work with SAP modules, Oracle databases, and various programming/scripting languages, while collaborating with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions and maintain security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, or similar discipline is required.
• Bachelor's degree in another field with relevant industry experience in configuration, administration, and support of software will be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL Queries; SAP experience; familiarity with .NET, Java, scripting languages.
• Experience with SOx applications or audit activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support & configure within the application architecture (vendor or custom developed).
• Perform software installation and patching based on roadmaps and issue resolution.
• Configure core software and develop enhancements in the application language.
• Understand system interfaces and data flows for complex inbound/outbound interfaces.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes to maintain performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues; collaborate with IT personnel and vendors.
• Develop data queries to meet customer requirements and provide data insights.
• Document processes, procedures, and specifications; participate in governance.
